Katy United Expansion – Katy Premier Sports (March 2026)

The groundbreaking ceremony for the Katy Premier Sports - Katy United Expansion on March 27, 2026, celebrated the continued growth and success of one of the region’s most dynamic youth sports partnerships.

The event was attended by partners, friends, and family, reflecting the strong community foundation that has driven Sports Developer’s success from its earliest days to today.  Project investors and lenders, including Mr. Robert Dudley, former CEO of BP plc, and Stellar Bank, attended the ceremony highlighting the growing institutional confidence behind our developments.

This project is particularly meaningful as it represents a complementary addition to the existing Katy United volleyball facility—originally built by Sports Developers.

The new complex, Katy Premier Sports, will feature basketball, pickleball, and volleyball courts available for rent, broadening access to high-quality recreational and competitive sports facilities.

What began as a single facility has grown rapidly, driven by increasing demand, program success, and strong operational performance. With the support of Sports Developers, Katy United evolved into a thriving program with 30+ teams, ultimately requiring a purpose-built, larger facility to continue its expansion.

Unlike the previous developments, the construction of Katy Premier Sports is being carried out by Fritts Sports Developers – our general contractor joint venture with Fritts Construction.
